In 1944 and 1945, the Brampton Golf Club held golf matches to benefit local veterans of the Second World War. Local photographer Cecil Chinn captured these games on film, recently digitized by the Region of Peel Archives. The silent footage is a mix of black and white and colour.
Located south of Steeles Avenue, at the time, the club was officially in Toronto Township, which forms the basis of the City of Mississauga.
