In February 2016, PAMA held an exhibition opening for "Veteran's Voices: Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of The No. 2 Construction Battalion". Featured in this video are the opening speakers and stamp unveiling, in partnership with Legacy Voices.
The video is set to the song "Danny Boy", performed by Charmie Deller. Speakers at the event were The Honourable Jean Augustine, the first Black Canadian woman to become an MP; Rosemary Sadlier, member of the Canada Post Stamp Advisory Board and Past President, Ontario Black History Society; the family of Robert Downey Jr., descended from George Alexander Downey of the No. 2 Construction Battalion; Matthew Wilson, grandson of Dr. Jean Augustine, reading "Post's Story"; June Parris, granddaughter of Private Seldon Thomas Parris, No. 2 Construction Battalion; Annemarie Hagan, Supervisor and Curator, Museum Services at PAMA; Chief Warrant Officer (Ret'd) Kevin Junor; The Honourable Sonia Sidhu, MP, Brampton South; Karla Hale, Director, Service Innovation, SIIT, Region of Peel; Robert Downey Jr., grandson of George Alexander Downey of the No. 2 Construction Battalion; and Kathy Grant, Founder of The Legacy Voices Project and Vice President, Ontario Black History Society. Also appearing at the event were Rita Borden, daughter of Joseph Parris, and Mildred Parris and Audrey Parris, both daughters of Seldon Thomas Parris.
