What a fun acrylic nails challenge started by Kirsty Meakin :) It was certainly nerve-racking trying to work as fast as you can with that stopwatch staring at me. I might not look frazzled but believe me, I was. I panicked at the end thinking I didn't prime my nails, haha, but I did. This was my first acrylic nails challenge but hopefully not the last. All my clients come for their nail fill every two weeks, but I am my own worst client! So I decided to do the acrylic nails challenge on myself. It is so much easier to do someone else's nails so if I get the opportunity to film a client who is over two weeks I will definitely try this challenge again. ;) It has been three weeks since I last filled my nails and you can see my right-hand is totally different from my left because I never have enough time to do both hands at the same time so this acrylic nails challenge was kind of perfect for me.
Here in the US, we call it a nail fill or fill-in. I know Kirsty lives in the UK where they call it an "infill." Kind of cool to hear some of the differences about the nail world across the globe but the coolest thing is definitely her accent! Keep up the good work Kirsty.
